Low Cost Insurance
As a member of MTAA Super you benefit from low-cost insurance that provides comprehensive cover.
You can apply for:
- Death Cover (up to $5,000,000)
This pays out a cash benefit to your beneficiaries if you die.
- Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) cover (up to $2,000,000)
This pays out a cash benefit if you are unlikely to ever work again due to a total and permanent disability.
- Income Protection cover (up to $20,000 per month)
This pays a monthly benefit if you can’t work for an extended period of time due to an illness or injury.
MTAA Super also offers flexibility around the way you take out cover. Members can choose to have their death-only or death and TPD as either unitised or fixed cover.
