Check if you've got any "lost" super
Did you know that 1 in 3 Australians has "lost" super? Super often becomes "lost" when you change address and forget to inform your super fund, or you change jobs and leave small amounts of super behind. Your old fund often transfers these amounts to a fund called an Eligible Rollover Fund (ERF).
AUSfund, Australia's Unclaimed Super Fund is an example of an ERF. It's simple to check if you've got lost super with AUSfund, just go to www.unclaimedsuper.com.au or call AUSfund on 1300 361 798. If they are holding lost super for you, they will transfer it into your nominated super fund account.
